Sorry trial run
Hope to be able to check out this website tonight!
The way you were able to use Big Campus to simplify your teacher paper trail sounds wonderful. I also have several students that I would like to be able to keep their data, tests & projects all in one place. I like the appeal of being able to keep various digital files in one easy to use place. I did have trouble staying connected and logged into the site and will need to do some more exploring, so I still have a little confusion and a couple of questions. Do you have any tips for someone who is a little technologically challenged? Is this the kind of site where you can borrow from pre-made lessons & combine with your own ideas or is it strictly a digital file folder for things you create? Can you recommend any other cheap/free sites where students can upload projects for teachers to view? Our district has a very strict e-mail policy and won't allow students to e-mail anything to teachers. I would appreciate hearing any thoughts you might have.
Robyn- Thank you for your enthusiasm today. It's comforting to know that you were a participant in RI last year, yet have grown to the point of presenting this year. I appreciate your patience teaching us how to use google docs. Creating the form turned out to be simple. I'm excited to explore mybigcampus and share some of your ideas with my peers. I think the thing that stood out the most was your excitement. It's obvious you took what you learned last year and provided it directly into your classroom to increase student learning. Thanks again.
